Why is it that anytime I try to regulate my insulin, either through met or natural products, I get horribly nauseous? My glucose levels are within normal range, however I have hypoglycemic symptoms and have had some "odd" test results. Anytime I've tried to take anything that is supposed to help with insulin, I have no appetite and I feel like throwing up. It's frustrating! Just needed to vent about that. If anyone has any ideas on why this happens, I would appreciate the input. I have noticed that sugar makes me really sick, so I've laid off that. But in general, all food makes me feel icky!
Hope you feel better soon. I know how you feel, it took me about 18 months to get used to metformin. Have you tried eating a lot of veggies? That and good carbs helped me a lot.

Yeah... lots and lots of veggies REALLY help. I also heard a lot of girls here make shakes by blending veggies in with fruits. When it's all blended up you don't even taste the veggie flavor. If you don't like eating them that may be your answer. I'm lucky I love veggies, but sometimes they get old having them all the time and trying to fit them in with each meal.
I don't think I've been eating enough this past week and I can tell with how I feel!
