Default Ft. Lauderdale OB/GYN?

Just got insurance (hooray), and took two HPT's yesterday, which turned out +! I am in complete shock. No, really. Shock.

So if anyone knows a good OB/GYN in the Fort Lauderdale area (who might even take United Healthcare), I would really appreciate the info.

I made an appointment with Dr. Calvo's office in Ft. Lauderdale, but the receptionist was impatient and a little rude... I waited so long to get pregnant, I don't want to have to deal with that crap!

thanks,
Mary

I have the best OBGYN in the world!!! He is not in Fort Lauderdale though he is in Tamarac. Not too far though. Straight down Cypress Creek Rd to University and just a little North. His name is Dr Michael Benjamin. I also see the nurse practitioner there, her name is Sydney. They are the best. I had to have all these blood tests done for the PCOS to be fully diagnosed. i had no insurance so they even waived ALOT of their fees for me. Took the price from $770.00 to $300.00. That right there told me that they cared more about my health than my money. ANyway, I do not have his number on me right now, but if you are interested, email me at lizziebelle@bellsouth.net and I will get it for you! Good luck, Niki

Default OBGYN Dr Pembroke Pines

I hope this helps...I don't know if they take your insurance, but I am sure they do. My dr is Martha Garzon and she is great. Very personable. The office is near the Pembroke Lakes Mall. Memorial West is where there office is. They are good there also Dr. Simpson is good. I wish you all the luck!!
