Question Full AF or spotting with Prometrium?

For those of you that take Prometrium, did you get a full AF or just spot with you took it. I took it for twelve days. The following day I had very light spotting of red blood with a little achiness across the pelvic region. The next day and today was still spotting of red blood, *slightly* heavier. Usually AF starts out with brownish spotting (sorry) and gets heavier the next day. Is this light spotting it? Is this normal?

That sounds about normal to me. I did notice that when I was on the 200mg (one pill) I started a full fledge one but then the doctor ran out and I had to take 100mg x 2 and it seemed that I just started to spot and it was very light maybe it's just me thinking that there was a difference who knows. I need to start taking it EVERY month though!!! But with my co-pay up to $30 now I will have to wait the every three months if I don't get it or get lucky and the pharmacy lady brings samples in the doctor's office. But I had no side effects believe it or not!!

Default This is my first time on Prometrium

12 days - 200mg/day. My cycle started on the 5th day I took Prometrium and seems a little lighter than usual - but looks like it is going to last it's normal length.

It has however made me extremely moody. I'm feeling so blue on it that I"m considering asking my RE if there are other alternatives.

Default Replying a little late

I recently took Prometrium 200mg for 7 days. I had AF for 1 day and that was it. I found it to be very strange but RE said it was still considered withdrawal bleeding so it was ok. Just my 2 cents on my Prometrium experience.

I did not take prometrium but I took provera for 10 days and I started spotting a little yesterday and I called the clinic to let them know I got my cycle day 1 and they told me to start Clomid on day 3 (days 3-7) but today there is no blood at all I am very confused and my periods are usually light the first day than heavier the next day. So know I am wondering if yesterday was cycle day 1 now?

Default one dot

when i took prometrium i waited and waited and prayed for af to start and one night i started cramping and went to the bathroom and one drop of bright red blood came out of me and nothing after that. after trying an upped dose and still nothing i had to be put on progesterone injections and now i have to have 2 shots (one in each hip) containing 2cc's of progesterone oil. usually a week later i start my period and it last between 3-5 days.

Default Provera Too!

I took 10 days of Provera and spotted very briefly one day and a TINY bit the next, with some cramping. Now, nothing. So is that it? Was that day 1? I don't want to miss taking my Chlomid...

I felt the same way alisonj
but I called the doctor office and they told me to still come in for my baseline ultrasound and bloodwork which I did today (this morning) and they said that everything looked ok and that the light spotting on Monday 3/1 was day 1 and to still start clomid on day 3 (today) in the evening. So I will start tonight.
