Default A Fun and Easy Conditioner That Works

I read online about using olive oil as conditioner in your hair, so I tried it. It works!! My frizzy hair is actually semi-calm today. I'm so happy! I don't have much hair--but what is there is usually just frizz, even with using Paul Mitchell smoothing shampoo, conditioner, etc.

Anyway, this is what you do:

Get about 1/4 cup of olive oil. Heat it in the microwave for 40 seconds or so. You just want it warm--not hot. Massage it into your hair (this can be kind of gross-but it works well). Leave for at least 1/2 hour, and then shampoo two or three times to get it out.

I just thought that I would share this because it worked really well for me.

Thanks to PCOS--an extra 1/2 hour in the bathroom isn't too bad. There's always shaving and plucking to be done!

Does it make your hair oily?
Olive oil is so good for you too..lol..I'll have to try it if it doesn't weigh the hair down. I wonder if it would, cause I have really natural curly hair. Might do it some good.
Growing up my mom used to make a mayonaise, egg, honey mixture and put it on my hair for a few minutes. Gross!!!..but man, it did my hair awesome.

It didn't make my hair oily at all. I actually shampooed it about five times to make sure that it was all out. I have naturally curly hair too!

Good luck!

Cool.
So if it did your curly hair fine, then hopefully it will mine too.
Thanks. I'm always up for a new way to condition my hair.
