funny taste

for several days, i've had a strong sweet taste in the back of my mouth. it doesn't go away, no matter what i do (brush teeth, eat something salty) and it isn't accompanied by a sore throat or anything.

have i become some kind of freak, or does anyone have a possible explanation?

my boyfriend thinks i'm nuts!

Are you on any medications or Rx?

From what I've found, a sweet or fruity taste in your mouth can be a sign of diabetes or that your blood sugar is wacky. Have you talked to your docter about this? I'd have it checked out.

that's interesting. it just started a couple of days ago (after a brownie binge, i confess) but it's driving me insane. it's sweet, but kind of metallic, if that makes sense. i'll have to call the dr., who will add that to the list of reasons to think i'm insane!
