What you're describing is different from my issue---but there are similar complications.
I've got GERD, and my doc scheduled an endoscopy when he made that diagnosis---which led us to discover I've got Barrett's Esophagus, a condition (they think) is caused by regular acid washing from stomach into the throat. The cells in the throat are changed because of the reflux, and it's considered pre-cancerous. I now have to get an endoscopy once a year to make sure it doesn't go cancerous (which is a pretty nasty sucker, the rates aren't great).
Barrett's isn't very common (10% of GERD patients, but also seen in bulimia patients, etc). But I'd only been having reflux symptoms for a
few years, and I'm only 26---my doc was shocked I had it. So I'd say you should DEFINITELY go see a gastroenterologist, both due to the constant vomiting (I can't believe you haven't already gone in!!), AND because if you've been throwing stomach acid around like that, you're at risk, too.

Good luck!!
