I'm sorry, but for those of us who inherited PCOS from their mothers or have others in their families with PCOS, can I just interject a big fat DUH over this article?
My mom had it, her sister has symptoms, their mom had it, I have it. I have a second cousin who has it. It's all over my family, yet I have had several doctors who told me it's not inheritable. I guess they finally figured out what I knew when I was first diagnosed!

LOL on the Big Fat Duh...I'll have to remember that one! I still get really upset when people, (especially doctors) imply that somehow we did this to ourselves through overeating, laziness, etc. I don't mean to imply we are powerless to change our health, but I've always known I was born with a metabolic disadvantage.
Thanks for sharing!

I agree - I know it runs through my mother's side of the family, but no one wants to listen~!
