Default Geritol Complete

Has anyone taken Geritol Complete or heard of any reason it might work to help you get pregnant? I was skimming through some other sites and found a lot of women saying how they got their BFP's on the first month taking Geritol.

And here is listing of ingredients in Geritol...

I just thought it was intriguing and wondering if anyone has heard of anyone who tried it!? It basically looks like a multi-vitamin to me!

I started it during my third miscarriage so had been on it a few months when i got pregnant this pregnancy.

It seems to be an old, old belief that geritol makes you more fertile. I can't see any logical explanation for it, but I figured I take a daily multi-vite anyway and Geritol is made of TTC safe ingredients (not all multi vites have the safe type of vitamin A) so why not?

Also that cycle DH and I did a round of antibiotics in case some infection was to blame for my repeat loss... I took prednisone and baby aspirin which help with repeat loss in different ways... I used instead cups after insemination... DH had been taking fertility blend for men for a few months... and the bigest thing IMO was I used Menopur injections whereas before I had used Bravelle and then a mix of Bravelle and Menopur. Basically we took everything we could think of and threw it as hard as we could to make that cycle work - and it did.

So I can't credit the geritol - but it IS a good daily vitamin to pick, as far as I can tell, and it's good to take a daily vite while TTC anyway, so why not? You'll be out like $10 every 3 months - compared to some of the whackier things people try I think it's a pretty reasonable thing to take.

I work with a lady who swears by taking Geritol. I do know she had a hard time getting pregnant and she had two miscarriages. Then she started the Geritol and after about two months she was pregnant and didn't miscarry. She doesn't have PCOS though.

The only thing I found about Geritol Complete, was A. that it tastes like molasses. Mostly the ass-es. And... B. That it was the Iron in it that seemed to do the trick. Maybe by helping the lining.. ect ect.
But really, Bootstrap Molasses has 70 percent of your iron EDN in a serving.
And... it's not 5 dollars a bottle.

I really, really investigated it prolly 2 years ago.
