Default Get your thyroid checked

I was going through some serious depression. I was in therapy by nothing was really getting me out of this funk. I hated my life and felt there was just no reason to do anything with myself.

I read something online about hypothyroidism and saw some of the symptoms I was experiencing. I was subclinical (my numbers weren't crazy bad but they were questionable). My doctor is very proactive and started me on just the smallest dose of a thyroid medication (30 mg of Armour thyroid).

After 24 hours on the medication my life is completely different. I can't believe how depressed I was and what a change I have experienced - all because of my thyroid. It seems so SIMPLE and yet I suffered so long.

It's just a simple blood test to have your TSH and Free T3 & T4 tested.

I hope this can help someone!
