Hi ladies!
Feeling the early effects of a cold. Does anyone know a good way of nipping it in the bud so to speak? I really can not afford to have one right now I'm really busy!

I always do vitamin c and echinecia (spell?) Careful not too much, both can upset your stomach.

I always use echinacia too (i am not sure how you spell it now) and vit c, it always helps me

when i feel a cold coming on, i usually gargle with salted water (then spit it out) and eat lots of raw onion. Hope you feel better soon

I swear by the Zicam nasal swabs. I stayed away from them for a long time, because I thought, ew! Who wants to shove a swab up their nose?!? But it's easy and painless--you just dab the swab right inside your nose every 3-4 hours hours. I haven't had a full-blown cold since I discovered these!

echinacea, vitamin c, multi vitamins, loads of fresh fruit and veg, chicken soup.

i have the worst cold right now. I swear by Airborne and chicken noodle soup. Oh and if you want something for nighttime...alka seltzer cold. works great.

Thanks for all your tips ladies! Went and stocked up on OJ and Echinacia and things are ok just a blocked nose and some ear problems but no sore throat which is GREAT
I'm def going to remember these!
