Talk with him about it, you may be pleastanly surprised. Some men love lots of hair down there. I have the same problem and my dh trims it for me, he looks forward to it. I hope you can muster the courage to bring it up with your dh to be.

Stop panicking! Women come in all sorts of degrees of hirsuteness. All women have some pubic hair, though granted those with most estrogen and least testosterone may only have a very small amount of wispy hair. With a great many women it doesn't extend further out than the labia majora amd may not be particualrly coarse. But under the influence of high testosterone levels it can easily take on the appearance of a pair of shorts.
The current fashion in younger women is to shave the lot off. However, a great many don't even trim it.
I think you can rest assured that your husband won't be in the least put off by it -- he'll be far more interested in what's behind it.
Just remember that you have one enormous advantage from your high testosterone levels -- women with high testosterone levels are very much better at the physical side of the relationship. Or so they say.
I think it's a personal preference. If you don't want to have to worry about "maintenance", rest assured that going 'au natural' will not hinder intimacy at all. However, keep in mind that some men find trimmed, shaved or waxed pubic areas erotic, so you should ask your fiancee what he likes. The decision is ultimately yours, though. There are many options...shaving, waxing, trimming. You'll probably just have to find something that works for you.

I think one thing that's clear is that "success" for different people means different things. Some on this board regard success as being happy with who they are and are quite accepting of the fact that they're female but don't conform to the standards of "femininity" used by the media. I come into that category -- nowadays the fact that I've got moustache and beard growth and nothing much by way of breast development doesn't bother me at all. I'm quite secure in that I've a husband who loves me and we've a family, so I've got more than a lot of "feminine" women have. On the other hand for others on the board "success" is getting rid of the need to shave and getting hormones into the normal female range so that they can appear to be more normal females in the way that society expects.
