Getting 'natural' 'rythyms' back? See how I can put this. I usually always am on a medication to get me through the days, you know we have to take these antidepresants and antianxiety meds on a regular basis. My question is, I layed down today without a Xanax, b/c I wasn't anxious DUH! lol just really tired I guess after church, I fell asleep with no help from medications. When I woke up, I actually felt like myself, a little down, but felt odd like ok, I wasn't anxious when I woke up, I fell into a deep sleep, didn't know what day or time it was when I woke up. And as I woke up more, the sadness dissipated. It was weird to say the least.
Wondering if this has happened to anyone and do these medications really 'numb' you, meaning, I'm realizing that they are all potent chemicals, yet my body and mind feel like they're trying to restore my natural sleep cycles?
Am I making sense? Really curious about this...never really took things like this or what I put in my mouth and how the whole human body and its hormones re: sleep and mood seriously until early this year. It's been a slow, process, just wanted to ask about this. |
