    Question Getting old too soon!!?

Do you have signs of getting old too early?

I am 26 and few years ago I noticed signs of menopause/getting old! Most of my symptoms are “typical” PCO symptoms, but I also have some gray hair, my skin is not very clear, my eyes are dry, and sometimes I have difficulties to concentrate/remember things. I am also easily depressed and tired and my sex drive is quite low…

These signs and feelings (that should not appear when one is in her twenties...) really worries me!! Do you think these problems can have something to do with PCO? And do you know if there’s anything I can do to prevent my hair getting gray too early?

Because of these symptoms I am also worried that I won’t be fertile for long… Grey hair is not exactly something you associate with young woman who’s pregnant.

Do you have these problems too? I would really like to hear opinions and thoughts!

I wouldn't worry about the grey hair, my sisters was nearly completely grey by the time she was 30.
Being tired, depressed etc can just be part of life, depends if your stressed levels, your job, weight, what you eat....etc.

I know when I don't exercise/drink enough water I always feel sluggish, tired and my skin dries out..

If you are really concerned talk to your doctor about it, he will be able to help you.

... and your memory/concentration problems could be an indication of Insulin Resistance. Have you been tested for that?

I think that is just kind of a freaky thing that happens to some people (the grey hair). My mom went grey at 25 and my sister went grey at 19 (I was spared, thank God), but neither one of them has PCOS.
