I was wondering how long it took other cysters to get ready to go somewhere?? It takes me 1/2 hour to tweeze my face before I feel presentable!! Then I have to bath etc....

Me too spend an age with tweezers at the window where the hairs are more obvious ... I have to position myself in some akward positions to get at them !
I also spend another half an hour trying to get my thin hair in a good style before leaving ... I then spend an age trying to figure out what to wear so in all I need ages !

Sally, I spent about $40US on a lighted magnifying mirror by Conair. It's much easier than doing it in a window. Especially if you have nosy neighbors!
It takes me about 1/2 hour to get ready, but that's only because I now shave instead of plucking (preparing for laser hair removal). When I was plucking, that alone would take 30-45 minutes.

Let me just say that after 17 years of shaving and tweezing my face, laser hair removal has, as they say, made me a new woman. I'm not constantly self-concious, I'm not afraid of unannounced guests, I don't feel like I have to avoid late night social gatherings because of my impending five o clock shadow. I don't spend hours removing/thinking about removing/crying about removing/purchasing removers anymore! And I'm not even completely finished with the laser process, and I still do have some pokey blonde hairs, and some darker ones I need to shave occasionally, but it is NOTHING like the way it was before- tons and tons of thick, dark hair on upper lip, chin, neck and sideburns. And I was always really diligent about making sure no one saw so I know you can all imagine how much time was involved in that process. I am a student and am paying my way through school by waiting tables so,believe me,I am not wealthy, but I scrimp and save to be able to do this and it it SO WORTH IT!!! Please ladies, if you can, go get lasered, it will change your life!
Most of the time it takes me a minimum of 1 hr and 15 minutes or so to get ready to go out.

I get ready pretty quick, but I pluck and tweeze for about an hour at night. Next week I will be on a camping trip with my entire family, so shaving it will be for me!! I'm going to get laser, just waiting though for the met to slow the hair growth...

it takes me atleast an hour to get ready!
first all the hair removal (atleast half an hour) then plucking stray hairs, and applying make up to cover any stuble or what not!
If I try to pluck the night before I still have stuble everywhere when I wake up!!!

During the winter it takes me about 30 minues to get ready. The little facial hair I do have I don't care about, or get rid of with an epilator once a week.
But during summer.... Oh my. I shave, epilate, wax, use hair removal creams... It seems to me I do it every day! And it takes forever! Then I have to figure out what to wear that doesn't make me look all pregnant with m PCOS belly and all...
Stupid syndromes...
