What kinds of things does he like? I think it all depends on what kind of guy you have. Some don't care for the romantic stuff and others love it.
Maybe there is a movie he mentioned loving as a child but can never find, if so hunting it down would be awesome. You could give him a photo of you like the glamour style photography if you are interested in that.
For those with busy schedules,it could be something as simple as a night you plan ahead of time.Without him having to stress about anything he would be relieved. Then you all can focus on each other for the evening.

lingere can be anyone!

If you are apprehensive about wearing something racy in front of him...Buy yourself something completely out of character for you...something you know he would about drop dead over.

Bring it home and wear it ONLY when he isnt around so you can get yourself used to being in it. Allow yourself to feel completely sexy and different in your new outfit. Wear it as often as you can (Even under work clothes if you can) because the more often that you wear it...the better you will feel in it.

By the time V-day is here you will feel so super sexy in your new outfit and be ready to show it to him.

Just remember- The flaws that you see....HE WONT SEE. Men love when a woman goes outside the box and buys something with them in mind. All he is going to see is PERFECTION....trust me on that one. GL!

I always cook Dh a nice meal every Valentine's Day and we have champagne. I decorate the table and everything and have a nice dessert to go with dinner. Dessert is either chocolate & white chocolate covered strawberries or a strawberry cheesecake or red velvet cake. I do one of those every year for dessert. Our dinner usually is a big seafood dinner.

Since our Anniversary is the same week and my husbands birthday we have alot going on so I do the dinner and dessert and champagne thing and I buy him a nice card and last year I bought a real nice jar and I sat and wrote 100 things why I LOVE him so much. Cut out small pieces of red, white, pink construction paper and wrote something on each one of the papers and put them in the jar that was decorated. I put a white label on the jar that said Happy Valentine's Day Sweetie Here is 100 reasons WHY I LOVE YOU SO MUCH! HE LOVED IT!!!!!!! He doesn't show alot of emotion and let me tell you he had water in his eyes. He told me that was the best gift I ever could have gotton him.

I LOVE to be creative! I think on some occasions it just means alot more to a pesrson to make something for them, they know you put your time into it and your thoughts. I mean I could go out and buy him a watch or a piece of jewlery but I could do that anyday. So, I try to do something a little different and creative. I mean the jar with the 100 reasons why I love him cost me about $5.00 at the most and he told me that it was the best gift I could have gotton him. He got all teary eyed and my husband isn't one to get all emotional. For one Father's Day & Wedding Anniversary I made him scrapbooks and he loved them.

I already do the big dinner and champagne thing, but I LOVE your gift idea of the 100 things I love about DH. I'm going to do that for DH, I know he'd love it and think it's so sweet Hope you don't mind me stealing your idea

I really think thats a great idea as well.

Another idea that my DH did for me last year was he bought a pocket sized websters dictionary and went thru the entire thing highlighting all the words that reminded him of me.

That was probably the best gift I have ever received. So thoughtful and made me feel so loved.

That's so sweet. I'm doing something similar. DF has been doing so much for me and had a special suprise for my birthday so I wanted to set up a special suprise for him. I ordered a meal from Omaha steaks, I wanted it to be a really nice meal...so I couldn't risk experimenting with cooking something new! I also ordered a cake, it will have a red background and a black silhouette of a man playing trumpet (he's a trumpet player) with a cute message on it. I'm also going to decorate the room with heart shaped candy, and have it be pink and red themed.

I also might have to steal that 100 reasons idea, that would really make it perfect!!!

i think i am going to stick with the 100 reasons thing and put them in a jar.. because i know he would prolly think it's sweet.. or at least he better anyways now i just gotta think of how i am going to decorate the thing.. hmm.. i hope he doesn't decide to back track on this computer and find out what i've been doing (posting on here).. so hopefully he will enjoy what i have to give him this year.
