I treid to give someone a gift and got a message "The item you are trying to purchase is currently out of stock." whenI clicked on "give gifts"

But i have recieved gifts in the past couple of days. Any ideas what could be happening? It's been going on fro a couple of days, when I recieved a gift yesterday and today, I though it was fixed.

I think it means that you can only buy a certain amount of gifts in a certain time period. I had the same problem.

It seems there are only so many available in a day. Once those are purchased you have to wait for it to reset. Not sure why.
