I have not had it done, but one place I looked at offered services for "extended bikini area" (not sure what that means) and "entire pubic region." (That one is pretty obvious... heh... but I gotta say that while being totally hair free down there must be nice for bathing suit reasons, it would be really really weird for just about everything else... I mean, at leasy I would feel weird having no hair down there... )

Yeah, the butt crack hair I can do without, but like, if I had no pubes at all... I'd feel weird. Like a barbie doll with saggier boobs...

A hint - I find a beard trimmer with the trimmer guard removed works well for the butt crack. I don't know why but I swear, this method, it's like you sneak up on the hair, it doesn't realize it's been cut, and it grows much, much slower. That's my experience, at least...

An electric razor with a trimmer edge works, too.

I am getting my bikini area lasered tomorrow.

I was wondering if anyone had done electrolysis on their breasts. I have a few rogue hairs there, but not enough to pay for laser. Seems a wee bit personal though!

To be more personal, I would LOVE to have most of my girlie parts done, at least once to reduce the hair, if not the whole 9 yards.

I think if my face, tummy, and bikini are sucessful, I will, over the next few years get EVERYTHING done that I want!

Oh to be HAIRFREE!

I havn't had electrolysis done but I'm having my face lasered. I wanted between my breasts done so they did a package for me. I asked once they started the treatments because I had a few around my nipples, but same thing, not enough to do on it's own, and they threw it in with the same cost as the other treatments. You never know, it doesn't hurt to ask if they will throw it in for you.

I'm still saving for the laser hair removal on the facial areas. I've become sooooo hair-obsessed that I've wondered the same thing about the "girly parts".
Questions like: Will the skin darkening/ irritation from shaving fade after laser treatments? Will it decrease/ eliminate boils/ cysts caused by the dreaded ingrown hairs? How many treatments for such a delicate, personal area? How much do they charge for that? Is it performed by a certified doctor/ nurse or just an assistant?
Would it be wierd to show up for the office exam in a pair of dark sunglasses, a big hat, black & white polka dot dress & elbow length gloves, speaking in staged voice, & an assumed name like a shady dame from an old black & white movie of the week?
See what I mean by I'm hair-obsessed. It's a psychological condition. It's taken on epic proportions. Pray for me & I'll pray for you.
Later Days,
Linda S.

Default OWIE!

OK- had my bikini line and linea lasered yesterday. WOW!! That hurt! The more hair there is, the more the laser zaps, snaps, and burns hair~ there's a lotta hair in those places. (oh and the darker the hair the more pain)

For the bikini area, I had about 1.5 inches from the top of the "triangle" and an inch in on the sides (at the top), she also did the crease between my thigh and public area right to my butt. (So personal with a complete stranger).

My face is not at all sore today, but the bikini area is still quite tender today. Fortunately I don't have to have that area redone for 10 weeks! Whew!

The tech said she had just completed a COMPLETE bikini on a woman. Seriously, there is no way I could stand the pain directly on my girlie parts unless I was out cold. Oh and after yesterdays treatment, I'm thinking lasering the breasts is NOT the way to go.

I had a breast exam at the docs in the AM and my privates lasered in the PM. My girlie parts all got a "once over" today~ the most action I"ve seen in ages.
