Went to the endo on Thursday for my check up and she told me that the pharmaceutical companies have recently released Metformin XR. It is a slow release tablet so most only need one per day and (get this!!!) so far people taking it have reported NO SIDE EFFECTS!!
I am going on it when i finish my current packet.

I think it's fine Brooke. Some Dr's are just hesitant to prescribe it while breastfeeding. Those 'in the know' are ok with it though. I know a lot of people who swear by taking met while feeding. I kinda wish I stayed on it after I had Soph because I think it would have helped with my overload of foremilk. Soph is feeding half breast half bottle now so I'm thinking of starting it now anyway.
What awesome timing for this time come out! I've just run out of Met, and need to head back to the Dr's to get a new script. I know exactly what I'll be asking for this time!
