Smile Gluc/Clomid.I think I O Please look at this.

I have been on Gluc XR for almost 90 days and I finally got af... So my Doc went ahead and started me on Clomid cd4-8.. I am on CD 15... I never have a 28 day cycle...But today I woke and took my BBT and went from 97.2 for several days to a 97.8....I am so excited. I have had some really intense cramping and back ache.. Has amyone gooten this...right around O? I am hoping tomorrow will be another high temp day... We have been ttc for over 4 years now. I did the Clomid for 4 cycles w/o Gluc... And never worked. I was then Dg w/ PCOS 7/02,,, I have noticed the Gluc has brought my temps to a much better consistant pattern, rather than all over the grid. What do ya'll think??? KIM

Kim - I would totally agree with your assumption that the glucopage is stabilizing your temps (actually stabilizing your hormones) and it is known that for us PCOS cysters the clomid works much better in conjunction with the glucophage.

The glucophage is having a wonderful effect on me too... I am actually ovulating now with the glucophage alone (see my post on TTC board: http://www.soulcysters.net/showthrea...threadid=20969)

good luck!

I'm on Metformin and after 14 years of being anovulatory, I started to O 8 weeks after starting Met.

This last cycle was monitored and on CD 27 I had a 26mm x 19.5mm follicle. I did 2 cycles of Clomid alone and it did nothing for me.

I get a lot of cramping now that my body is working. I think this is my bodies way of letting me know that it's struggling to be normal. I can usually feel my ovaries when they are expanding with follicles.

14 years of anovulation...until I met...Met!
This is my post about O'ing on Met.

I hope this is O for ya!

Kim, I'd say it is very likely you are ovulating. I have been o'ing since taking met too, you can check out my charts with the link in my sig. Got pg too, but was chemical and lost it. You might like to check out a thread Oana started in the TTC board for charting cysters.
