I see my endo tomorrow and I am wondering if I should ask for a higher dose of Gluc XR. I've been taking 1000 mg for 3 months and only got AF once (20 days in). I really notice a difference in my appetite when I take it vs. when I might miss a dose (which isn't very often) so I know it's doing something for me even if there's no AF. Somehow I just think that a little more might do a lot for me.

Please share if you have experience! Thank you!

I noticed a huge difference when I increased to 1500.

Weight Loss is a little better (14 lbs so far), and my appetite is certianly under control now.

I do have GI side effects when I eat simple carbs or sugar, even with the XR, but I have Ovulated (about a week into 1500mgs), and am hoping for a repeat this week

well i take regular glucophage, but i'm at 1500mgs.

I noticed a huge difference, after 3 weeks at full dosage i became pregnant. Plus i lost 8lbs without effort.

My RE feels that he sees a real difference when women have 1500 to 2000 mgs.

At 1000 mg I was ovulating on cycle day 30 or somewhere around there... At 1500 mg I ovulate on cycle day 15. I feel better... I lost more weight.. I mentioned the same thing to my doctor and he recommended I up my dosage to 1500.
