I'm on Gluc XR and have had no side effects. I have only been on it 3 days but I wonder if this means it's not working right. I am on 1000mg a day. I started regular Gluc a month ago and I only had diarreha for 3 days. What's this mean??? I do feel very tired and occassionally dizzy. Is the Gluc XR doing anything for me??

I am on Gluc xr and i don't have any intestinal problems however it made me start a period in Oct.....so i'm sure yours is working for you. Just be happy you have no side affects

hey - i am on my fourth month with glucophage xr at 2000 mg per day. i had no gastrointestinal effects until i got to the 2000 mg per day level so don't judge wether it's working or not by how much time you spend in the bathroom! good luck. this medicatin makes me feel so much better, i don't mind the extra trips to the restroom.
