Variety is the spice of life.... Ah, this is the fun of each woman with PCOS being a unique case. I am taking met, and it's working very well for me, but some cysters only had success with one drug versus another. If this isnt working for you, either have your dosage checked, or try another medication. Some of us started out on Gluc, and when the generic, metformin, came out we tried that because it was less expensive, but some of their symptoms came back or it didn't work as well for them. I got lucky- the met works for me, and I have lost weight. So, there are other options out there, you may just have to try another. Studies have shown that many women with PCOS really begin to see results when the dosage hits 2000mg/day. Hope this helps!
