Honey, you've only been on the Xr a month. I was on it for almost 3 months before I got Af and 13 before my labs really started to drop. Met is a miracle, but it is a slow-working one.
For me, hindsight and a ton of reading have led me to believe that had I changed my diet sooner, met would have worked better. I was eating in such a way that my insulin would spike, counter acting what the met was doing. Things like ice cream, while they help us emotionally for a few mins, do really nasty things for our insulin and make the met have to work that much harder to regulate your hormones.
Check out the diet forum for tips on how to eat without spiking your insulin, work in exercise as much as you can and give the drug the time it needs to help you. Your hormones didn't get bungled in a month, and they won't get fixed in one either.
Hang in there, girl!
