I personally take it after I've eaten. Thats what my Endo said, and I've just always kept it that way.

Points: 36,201.01 Bank: 3,348,243.84 Total Points: 3,384,444.85 | My Doctor told me that what little benefits you would gain absorption-wise by taking it on an empty stomach, would probably be lost through side effects. Unless you have a total tummy of steel, your odds of absorbing it without problems are higher with some food in you or with food.

Points: 2,344.51 Bank: 0.00 Total Points: 2,344.51 | My experience has been that the side effects are less if I take it in the middle of a meal. Put in a little food, take the pill, and then finish my meal. I don't know if there is really anything to it, but it seems to help me.
