Red face Glucophage side effects

I am wondering if anyone else here feels "dizzy" or lightheaded or weird headed on glucophage? does it mess with your brain. New here, btw. Thanks.

Hi, I'm new too.
When I first started using glucophage I was dizzy and lightheaded. After awhile those side effects went away or I got used to them. But you should always talk to your dr about your side effects to know whats normal and what's not.

I think it may be when your blood sugar drops too fast. I know that's what it is for me. They say it won't lower your blood sugar, but I always feel better when I eat.

You might also try looking on the Metformin forum on the main page for more info. It's a section just about met/glucophage and it's side effects.

Good Luck!

Definatley light headed and dizzy....they just increased my dose. It should go away as your body gets used to the med, though...
