My Mood: Points: 786.27 Bank: 931.33 Total Points: 1,717.60 | I have been on the generic metformin for over a month now and still have not had AF. I have had a few women tell me it could take up to 6 months to get it. I started out at 500 mg for 2 weeks, then increased to 1,000 mg for 2 weeks and I am now on 1,500 mg and am almost done with week 2 of that dose. I would give it more time and then talk to your doctor about it. |

SO, I think 1000-2000 is acceptable!! |
