Default Glucophage VS Metformin

I wanted to share some info w/you ladies-I'm an occasional poster on this board. When I was diagnosed w/PCOS my Dr put me on Met, 850 mg 2x per day. I was on that for 8 months and it did give me af twice, but with no O. I asked my dr if I could at least try the glucophage for a few months to see if it would make a difference, he prescrived that for me w/the same dosage. Well I've been on it for 5 months and have O'd 3 times on my own! I NEVER O'd on my own before hand. It's amazing how well it worked! I get EWCM and everything! The second time I o'd on it was actually 5 weeks later than I "should have" but then this past time it was only 2 weeks later than I should have. So it appears that my cycles are becoming somewhat regular. I'm not pg yet but it's nice to actually have some cycles.

I'm sure gluc doesn't work better than met for everyone but it sure did for me!

Good luck ladies.
