Hi, I'm new here. I was diagnosed with PCOS about a month ago and started on Byetta almost immediately. The nurse had called and told me that my glucose test came out abnormal and that it meant that I was prediabetic. When I went in for them to give me the prescription I asked if I could see the test results. The lady at the lab seemed a little shocked as she looked at the results with me. My fasting glucose was 150 but after I was given the glucose solution my glucose level started to go down and dropped down to 85 then the last blood draw went back up to 110. Has anyone else had results like this? I keep trying to look up different test results online, but I can't find any examples that look like this. I want to know if anyone knows why this would happen.

I'm not 100% sure cos test values may differ between countries but your fasting glucose seems high.
Were you on Byetta before or after you did the test?

I went on Byetta after the test. The fasting glucose was high, but after I took the glucose solution it dropped into normal range. I was wondering if this was typical for women with PCOS.
