Is anyone else taking this newish Drug? I did the metformin and it made me sick and I went 11 months without a period. My general Dr. switched me to the glumetza 1000mg once a day due to my type II diabeties and well within 2 months I got my period and now I am getting it every 5 weeks, I love this new med, but hate that my co pay is $60 a month.

I have been on this drug for about a year. I started at 1000 and as soon as I stepped up to 1500 mg per day, weight started sliding off me and my glucose and insulin levels started normalizing. I've never had any stomach problems on it. Like you, though, I hate how much it costs.
