Default Glumetza,CM, & Ovulation--please help!!!!

Hi ladies I have a question for ya...

I started on Glumetza 3 weeks ago 1500mg (right now only at 1000). I have had massive amounts of fertile cm (not normal at all!) and ovulation is nowhere to be seen. This has all been in my expected week of ovulation. I usually ovulate every month--given they are not "good" follies being produced & my luteal phase is too short(6-10), but I will have a biphasic chart. Is there any reason the Glumetza would be doing this? I thought it was supposed to get better & all I have now is major cramps, back aches, and fertile cm. UGH. I was just diagnosed with pcos a little over a month ago & have been truly struggling emotionally & physically the past few weeks. Any help or insight as to what is happening would be greatly appreciated!!!

maybe your body needs more time to adjust. from what i've been reading met can take a month or so to get used to (and it often gets worse before it gets better). Also some people seem to do better on the extended release met, while others have better results with regular met. I'd say hang in there for a few more weeks and see if you can get up to the full dose. If you're still not better within a few weeks, time to go back to the doc.

Best of luck - I know it gets really frustrating some days...

thanks for replying:-) yes, it does get stressful--we all want quick fixes but it seems that it just doesn't work that way. I did end up ovulating but it was much later than usual and my temps really didn't get up there too well. i am going to hang in there like you said & just give it some time. thanks again!
