Question Glumetza or Metformin?

I'm a newbie so if I don't post here...please direct me.

I was just diagnosed by the fertility clinic as having borderline pcos. I had a sonohysterogram and they found it.

I've got a prescription for Glumetza but then the fertility doc said today that Glumetza for pcos isn't good....go to 1500mg of Metformin a day...with meals.

I google the two and I see Glumetza's used a lot for pcos because of the side effects of metformin, not to mention that glumetza's a slow release so even if I take 3 500mg a day I can do it all at once right?

I'm so very confused! But it does explain my weight (well not the chocolate bars) but also why I miscarried twice.

HELP!
