Default Gluten

Hello All! I would seriously look into gluten intolerance/celiac. Check out The Gluten Connection and Dangerous Grains. Thyroid problems, infertility and many of the other problems mentioned here are directly related to gluten sensitivity. It's a fascinating subject!! The books can be found on Amazon.
Blessings!

It is interesting, however a lot of gluten free products are high GI/GL which isn't good for PCOS either. Through in being vegetarian and I start to wonder if there is anything I can eat apart from beans and vegetables.

I guess I should have been more specific. Cut out processed foods-especially those with gluten. Whole foods are always the way to go! Grass-finished meats, wild fish, pastured eggs, ghee, butter, coconut oil, veggies and other nutrient dense foods like that. We are not meant to consume grains. Today's wheat contains nearly 90% more gluten than it did a century ago!! Crazy, eh? I don't know your personal reasons for being a vegetarian but I would highly recommend researching the benefits of animal products (from humanely raised animals) to your health. I'm not judging or trying to convert you!! Just discussing. ;-) I have been a vegetarian, a vegan and a raw vegan. The topic of nutrition and health is one of my obsessions so I am always researching. Here are a few more websites if interested! I'm glad you posted. Best of luck!!
I can't post URL's yet so you'll have to figure these out. LOL.

I have avoided eating bread for several years now along with processed food. I don't have a problem with diary foods or eggs though I would rather have organic and free range. More investigation is in order I think as I am fed up with feeling so tired all the time. I used to have so much energy and I am struggling to keep up with my exercise routine.
