As some of you probably know, we lost our baby Daniel a few weeks ago. I had a m/c at 14 weeks 2 days. We were/are devestated.
I truly believe that God has some kind of plan for us. This past Thurday, we got a call from social services (we're foster-to-adopt parents). That afternoon, we were brought a 6-week-old baby girl. She's just the most adorable baby girl you could ever meet.
So, despite the lack of sleep, I'm really thinking God did this for a reason. She's helped make our household happy again! We will never EVER forget Daniel and talk about him and think about him every day, but I think we needed this little girl in our lives right now.
Any prayers/positive thoughts that you can give us and her and her biological family right now would be wonderful. Thank you so much!

Get involved in animal rescue. You won't be sorry. Your heart may break, there may be times when your eyes are red-rimmed for days. You may lose faith in the goodness of people, but your spirit will be renewed by the resilience of those you save. It isn't easy, but it's worth it. I promise you, you will be forever changed.
Mindi - your strength is admirable. Yes, God does have a plan and although sometimes bad things happen to us, God uses those time to strength us. It is wonderful that you have this opportunity to care for this little baby girl. Keep up your faith, you will be blessed.

love your positive attititude, yes it must of been hard to lose your sweet baby boy, but in the your time of mouring, god opened the doors of your hearts to a baby girl whom i sure will fill your hearts with joy and happiness. and your little angel daniel will be looking over you from above.
Most loving God, losing a child is devastating. Bless all woman and especially Mindijean. Comfort her in her loss. I am so glad that she is now blessed with a special little girl. We know that Daniel is looking over her and watching her and is her angel and he will never be forgotton. God is good and he has a plan for all of us. He knows are pain and our crys, he crys with us and he had a plan for you. What a blessing and I am happy for you and your family. May God bless you all and May he watch over you always.
