Cool Going for my hospital appointment tomorrow......

I was diagnosed with PCOS when I was about 15-16 and I was put on the pill to help with the aufull periods I was getting and then sometimes none at all.
Just recently I went to the doctor because I was suffering from very bad migraine attacks and I felt very tired and didnt really want to do anything. My GP said that it was the pill causeing migraines so he took me off it, I was also putting alot of weight even though I was going to the gym. I am now 23 so I was on it for sometimw, Now I am being refered to the hospital.....I just hope they dont find anything horrible.

The other thing is that I have terrible mood swings, sometimes I am really happy and other times I am likely to burst into tears...the thing is I have nothing to be depressed about, I am getting married next year, I have a wonderful partner and a lovely house.....I just dont get it...

Anyway just wandering what everybody else thought. This is a really good website, I have been thinking about joining for a while now.

Good luck tomorrow with the appointment.. I also have an appointment tomorrow with my RE. I was "sort of" diagnosed about 1 1/2 years ago, but the doc didn't follow thru and dozens of things happened up to now. I already know the outcome of my lab tests. I work at the lab that does the testing..(I even ran my own tests..lol) so I already know the results and what they mean. But I can't treat myself (Drat!! ) I agree with this being a great site. I have learned much in a short period of time. Anyway take care and again best of luck to you tomorrow.

Good luck with your appointment. Not knowing can be a scary thing. Sometimes you hope they do find something, so you can have a reason for feeling the way you do. I'm sure all is fine! Just curious, do you get your migraines all the time, or are they right before your cycle?

I hear what your saying about that.... same here, I just seem to flip in and out of moods like people change channels with the remote... and it really don't take much to make me lose my temper...

Good luck with the appointment!
