Default Going off BCP

Hi!
I have been taking Loestrin 1/20 21 day for almost 16 years. I am 35 and have PCOS. My husband and I have decided to try to get pregnant so I have gone off the pill and feel horrible- headache, tired, bloated, blah, hungry, etc... (like i'm premenstrual)
Is this normal?
I took my last pill on Saturday, October 24th, got my "period" on Wednesday morning, it ended Saturday, October 31st and did not start a new pack of pills on Sunday November 1st. I was on antibiotices for about 3 weeks prior for a sinus infection and missed a pill the week before taking antibiotics.
I went off the pill for one month 2 1/2 years ago and didn't feel like this. I even got a period right on schedule and went back on.
I took a pregnancy test this morning and it was negative.
Is what I am feeling normal? I feel so crappy I am tempted to go back on the pill.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!
Thank you!

It is normal to feel like that coming off of the pill, because your hormone levels are shifting, and unfortunately, not in any favourable way thanks to PCOS. Have you considered going on Metformin? It can help you ovulate regularly now that you are off of the pill, and can help you achieve pregnancy. It's safe to conceive on Metformin, and if you stay on it for the first trimester, it can drastically reduce miscarriage rates.

You should definitely meet with an Endocrinologist, or GYN or OBGYN.

Thank you Diamondintherough.
I have been on Metform for almost 7 years now which I think is why when I went off the pill 2 1/2 years ago I mentsrated on schedule for literally the first time ever not being on the pill. I wanted to see what my body would do and it was normal so I went back on the pill.
Metformin is amazing!!
