Question Going off BCP after 13 years

This is my first month off BCP since I was 14 (I am now 27). I have never been regular on my own. I honestly do not know what to expect. I am not sure how long I should give my body before calling my OB/GYN.
I have been cramping for like 3 days but no AF.
Does anyone have any advise?

Why did you quit taking BCPs? Have you been tested for insulin resistance (BCPs can contribute to that according to some studies)? Are you on Metformin?

I don't really have advise but I did want to say that I stopped taking the pill after being on it for long periods of time. One time I had the never ending period, the other time I didn't get a period for 3 months.

The metformin should help regulate your periods, you could always call you GYN and see what she suggests.
