Has anyone ever had a goiter? For the last 2 months, I have had this feeling like there is something stuck in my throat. For the last two weeks, it has gotten really bad and it has been difficult to swallow at times. I have been to my doctor and he cannot see or feel anything but is sending me to an ENT for a throat/thyroid scan. He thinks I have a goiter, throat spasms or a tumor. I am really scared. If it is not a goiter, it could be throat cancer or something. I have never had so much trouble swallowing before. Sometimes it gets so bad I feel like I need to go to the ER but then it gets tolerable. My appt is Thursday. Please give me good thoughts!

It probably is a goiter and not too worry yet. Sounds like your doc is doing all the right things. It is common with pcos , and treatable. My new endocrinologist thinks I might have one too and isn't particularly worried at this point(I'm not having difficulty swallowing yet). Keep us posted.

I've been having this weird off and on feeling in my throat. Kind of like there's a tingling lump but it comes and goes. I can't really tell if there is a lump because I'm not sure what my throat is supposed to feel like. LOL.

I haven't had trouble swallowing but is that tingling kind of stinging sensation goiter? It's on the left side of my neck next to where an adams apple would be.
