Hello all. I haven't been on here lately to give an update. But I will try to do so... May 29 I got Af and on that Saturday I started my daily routine on daily injections, blood work and ultrasounds. I started at 150 units of Repronex and after three days, the doc said they were working, but it was a little slow. So then they increased the medication to 225 units. I went back a few days later and did more ultrasounds and blood work. The doc last friday said I had three growing good follicles. Measuring an 11, 11 and a 9. I was to continue what I was doing. I went back in on this past Monday and the doctor couldn't find my ovary, but decreased my medicine back to 125 units.
I went in on Tuesay and I was told my follicles were large enough ( they have to be an 18 to be considered mature). I took ovidrel yesterday. That HCG injection is supposed to make you ovulate in 36 hours. So we shall see what happens.

The daily injections weren't bad at all. They were given in my hip, switching sides every day. They burned a litte but nothing horribe. I never had any side effects from them. The ovidrel was given in my stomach and the needle is much much smaller about a half inch if that. ( The other needles were an inch and a half and all the needle had to go in).

So we are hoping this time it works... I will keep you updated. But if anyone has any questions about daily gonadotropin injecions or the ovidrel, just ask me!!!

Was on Clomid for 3 cycles- no O
First round of Inections ( Repronex) done on 6/9/08- Had three mature follicles.
Took Ovidrel 6/10/08
Waiting till 6/30/08 to test- hopefully a BFP!!!!

Current Medications: Metformin 500 mg 3 tablets daily, Prenatal Vitamins, Vaniqua Cream
