This journey is gonna be so long. Last time I only had to wait a few months and now this is gonna be the longest wait of my life. Bless all of you that are doing this. I think about it ALL the time. It amazes me how much I think about Kimsey. I lay in bed thinking of her, I wake up thinking of her. Thinking about if her BM is pregnant with her right now. I pray for her safety and for her BM and her health. I think of all of you that are going thru the adoption process and wonder if you feel the same way that I do. What a amazing experiance. I know I just can't wait to get the little sugar booger in my arms.

I know what you mean. It's always there in my mind too. In my heart Devon and Savanah are already mine. I think of them all the time and already have shown their pics to my friends and coworkers. I even have one in a frame in my house already.
I still always try to say "If" they come live with us but my heart is already saying "when they get here!"
The waiting is harder for this than it was when I was pregnant with my dd. Because at least then I had my ever increasing waistline as tangible proof that I would soon be a new momma. This time there is nothing tangible to remind me and prove it is real!

Lisa I could have wrote your post word for word... I've already got every single thing that we're going to buy picked out! I did leave a few decisions to DH though I think the same exact things as you like whether her BM is pg w/ her right now & what she'll look like, etc.
I thought I was the only one so I didn't want to say anything...I'm glad that I'm not the only one

Mama2Destiny----HUGS coming your way. I know the waiting all too well now.
katydyd---I know EXACTLY how you feel. We keep trying to say IF but we soooo keep saying WHEN.
The waiting is sooooooooo hard. But the end is worth it, that I keep telling myself and my DH. I worry about the kids we want to adopt wondering just how much they know, I worry about how hard this is on them too!!
I, too have pictures of Krystal, Logan, Destiny and Damien and pray everytime I look at it.
Soon ladies, very soon.

I know the wait will seem like forever but before you know it you'll be cramming all your junk into a suitcase wondering where the heck all that time went! Panic! How will I ever get this stuff packed before my plane takes off! lol
I'm right there with you all--I can hardly wait to see my baby's precious face!
