Default Is this good or bad?

I have always had extremely painful periods. So bad, sometimes I couldn't even walk or get out of bed. No one ever seemed to understand how severe it was.

Now, I am 46, and by using Metformin, my periods are finally starting to become regular, BUT I now have no cramps! I also do not have lumps and clots passing like I used to.

Now, I don't know if this is good or bad. No cramps sounds good, but I am worried that no clumps means no tissue from the lining I am supposed to be building up every month to nourish a fertilized egg.

Does anyone know? I can never get my doctor on the phone, so I need advice here.

Are you TTC?

I think it is OK as far as I know to have a period with no lumps or clots. In fact, too many of them and too heavy periods I was under the impression is not healthy. But I'm no expert, maybe you should ask a nurse or another health professional if your doctor is not available.
