It's not often that I RAVE about a book, but
Hormonal Balance: Understanding Hormones, Weight, & Your Metabolism by endocrinologist, Scott Isaacs is a WINNER!
He regularly treats PCOS'ers and references PCOS heavily in the book. In my opinion, however, the best part of the book is the clear description of the various blood/hormone tests we have to take. When to have them, what they mean, etc.
Dr. Isaacs also discusses nutritional intervention at length, too.
I just got it Friday, and have read it cover to cover. Despite being FULL of information, it's a VERY easy read. Here is the Amazon.com description:
