We're looking for a child's medical record book but can't find any. All the ones that I'm finding are from conception or from birth. We need an adoption one that doesn't include birth b/c obviously we won't know how her birth was.
Does one exist?
If not, I guess I can create one! Oh, that would be awesome to create one and then sell it since one doesn't exist (that I know of)!

I am so sad to admit that I haven't done well with Emily's we do have Our Chosen Child books for Emily & Katie. I got them through Amazon. They're for adopted kiddos but like I said, I am so behind I can't even describe it to you...but you'll find it if you search Amazon.

We already have that book on our list to buy but now I'm looking for a specific medical one to keep all Aimee's medical data all together... I know that I'll probably be pretty bad w/ keeping it up as well but it's still nice to have one and write in it when I can
I think I'm just going to have to create one & sell it! I bet it would sell too since all the ones I've found deal w/ pg & birth...and are so not adoption oriented at all.
I'm already having tons of ideas!

I actually found mine at Hallmark and was very pleased with it. If I didn't like any of the pages I just "took them out of the binder". But it is nice and is a Adoption one, but I haven't done to well with keeping it up.

I think we are all getting confused with what Traci wants. She wants a Medical Book and we are looking at Memory Books.
Miss Traci has a good little idea going. I say you should market it and make a mint off of all of us!!

Yeah, we have a memory book in mind already but we're (well, I should say I'm) wanting a medical book where we can keep all Aimee's medical history in the same place.
I have about 25 pages written in the book at this point. It's probably going to take me a couple months to finish it so I'll have it printed and possible to a few book publishers in less than 6 months Maybe it will actually get printed!

It's a complete record of immunizations, illnesses, any broken bones, allergies, growth, etc. all the way up to 18 (well at least the one that I'm writing is as well as a few others that I've seen).
Mine will also be pocket sized so you can carry it to your drs w/ you as well as have a place for questions to ask your dr. For now, it will just be geared towards China adoptions but it would be fairly easy to gear it towards domestic & other international adoptions (the main reason I'm doing China now is b/c I need one myself and b/c I'm familiar w/ the information that we get, etc.) It also has a spot to enter Referral information (I think China is the only country that does referrals, am I correct?)

They have them in stores but they're geared towards birth children and cover all the way from conception/birth through 18. Obviously adopted parents don't need the conception/birth part and they don't make them w/o that part.
