W have had our little one for over 10 months now (see ticker) and today we finally had the TPR trial go through and now we can officially adopt our little one.

Got called about a child in early November
Got placement December 27th 2009
as of July 16th 2009 were still waiting for our TPR hearing (September 10th)
Official TPR November 5th 2009!

Congratulations!! That is so exciting. I must be such an amazing feeling to know that you are finally going to be able to have your adoption finalized.

Thank you for the cheers! I was told today that the family has the legal right to file an appeal which if they actually file one (i think they have 60 or maybe 90 days to file) it will hold everything up about 12 more months... but at least visitation which was causing my little one much distress are over so its just waiting... I just want this to be finished! But I am so glad were over the "hump" it feels like.
