Good doctor in Southern CA My doctor is Dr. Copeland in the Antelope Valley. He was an ob/gyn, but he doesn't deliver babies anymore. When I went to him with my PCOS, he had a lot of ideas for things to try, and started on the conservative, less expensive side of treatment. I started Metformin, which regulated my cycles. When my cycles starting getting irregular again while taking 1000 mgs, he put me on 2000 mgs and said the next step was Clomid. I got pregnant on the higher dosage, and now I have a 3 week old baby boy. I have a friend with PCOS who was immediately referred to fertility specialist and ended up spending a huge amount of money on in vitro, only to get pregnant naturally 6 mos. later. Dr. Copeland gives really good advice and doesn't push his patients into costly procedures when it may not ba necessary. |
