I have been diagnosed with PCOS for some time now, and for most of it, I believed that all that could be done for me was a prescription for BCPs. After I started veterinary school 3 years ago, I became somewhat apalled at the way my doctor had shrugged off my condition and not offered me any other options or referrals to specialists who might know more about the condition (this is certainly not how we are taught to treat our clients/patients!)
Anyway, I am desperately searching for a new doctor that is located in Saint Louis, MO or even Columbia, MO when I am currently attending school. My insurance is through GHP. If anyone has any suggestions, that would be wonderful!
Thanks so much!

Points: 1,091.00 Bank: 0.00 Total Points: 1,091.00 | Thanks Thanks so much for the info, but I feel like I should probably see just a plain old endocrinologist first since I don't have any concerns about becoming pregnant. If anyone knows of any good endocrinologists as well, that would be wonderful!
Thanks,
Sarah |

She is young and very nice. She actually listens to all your problems and her nurses are great too. If you have a problem or anything and you call them they will help you, they will even call you back if they need too. Her number is 573-443-8796. The address is 1701 East Broadway Suite 101 Columbia, Missouri (MO) 65201. Hope this helps you out. Another PCOS'er recommended her to me so thats why I went to her. She is very familiar with PCOS. :-)

The drs are great with meeting you and just talking over your medical history. They let you ask them questions and see if you are comfortable together.
Then, you can go ahead with exam, etc. |
