good endo in the northern al or tn area?

Help!! I am new to the area and am looking for any input concerning a good endo in birmingham or huntsville or nashville. I am willing to drive if necessary. I am looking for someone that will help me with my hirsuitism and hair issues mostly. I am on met and it is only working a little. I am insulin resistant and borderline diabetic and need to be on the met, but I am searching for a good endo that knows how to use anti-androgens to help with the other issues. The endo that i currently see at uab is only prescribing 25 mgs of spiro because she thinks this is "adequate to treat hirsuitism" (her words exactly). Help!

Dr. Harper is the RE in town and Dr. Bailey is the Perientologist. Their staff would know, but I don't know if they will give a recommendation.
