Does anyone use progesterone cream and if so where do you get yours??
I'm in the UK and am looking to give it a try alongside metformin whilst I kick in with the good diet and exercise habits

I just ordered the cream from Kevala, which has the amount of USP progesterone that is recommended by Dr. Lee. They ship to Europe. It arrived within a week & I wasn't charged duties either. I have only started using the cream & it actually has a rather strange texture (probably because the main ingredient is aloe vera). . .it is not like the creamier NPCs I've tried before. But I have been able to use it on my cheeks/neck without causing pimples!
Other than that. . .I would just be careful to make sure that actual USP progesterone is the ingredient listed (not wild yam extract) and if they list the amount/dose per ounce even better. For instance, you can forget the GNC brand cream because the dose is too low. I have used Emerita and Femgest as well & been happy with them.
One more thing. . .if you are ttc, read the ingredients to avoid creams with additional herbs in them. Some NPCs are more intended for menopausal women.
I bought the Kevala cream and have started applying it

can i ask a silly question? why exactly would you use the NPC? should all pcos women ttc be on it?
or do you only use it if you have low progesterone..?

Im on 1000mg Met and wondering if i can use progesterone cream and if there are any side effect of using them both together

As for using it together with Met, I don't see why not, but I would ask your doctor or post it on the Metformin board too if in doubt. I am not yet on Metformin so I don't know, but I think a lot of cysters use both.
I did ok with my Kevala cream last month, like I said, funny texture but at least it absorbs well and doesn't make me break out. However I had not ovulated, so I can't say if it helped with lengthening the luteal phase or not. Hopefully this month will be different, otherwise if I am not pregnant this cycle, next month I am doing a shutdown (using the NPC days 5-26) to try to heal any cysts that might have started forming. I am only going to do it one cycle though because I don't think I'm in such bad shape yet.
i used met and npc together. it worked great for me. i was trying to get pregnant and wow! it really helped me get regulated!

got mine from womentowomen.com. My first normal AF 25days 3 AF. Perfect 28 day cycle!I am so Happy!I am on it But, I am not TTC. I feel better & had problems with too much bleeding & it is gone had my 1st AF with it normal 25 days 3 days AF. I am using womentowomen.com It is natural not synthetic. Hope that was helpful.
