We took posession of our new home on Friday, and Friday night we got a good offer on this one. We got a call that the inspection process has been sped up and there is an inspection today, so that the deal can be closed more quickly.
And within the past hour I've found out that the dealership that we bought our van from 3 years ago is replacing our brakes for free under warranty because of factory default, which we totally did not expect...
AND the midwives called and they have an opening for me!!! I go in on Thursday for my appointment and I get to have another home birth!!! I cannot tell you how incredibly happy I am, and how humbled I am at God's grace in the face of my own worries, fears and outright disobedience.

Absolutely. He's been faithful even with my complete lack of faith. I never thought I'd get in with the midwives at this late date (less than a month to go), and the offer on our house is $2000 over the lowest we'd take, and exactly what we were hoping for. The brakes on the van weren't even a prayer item, since we expected that they wouldn't fix them under warranty at all. I'm quite stunned.

It's amazing how He provides the answer even when we didn't think there was a way
Um, actually, it turns out that the dealership ended up refusing to do the work under warranty. For whatever reason they assumed we'd just pay to have them done, and then when hubby asked for the "free" rotors that they said they'd do (to take to his cousin's garage to be installed) they suddenly balked and threatened to not give us our van back because they deemed it unsafe to drive. We ended up having to pay for all of the work, but with the free rotors it was cheaper than having it all done somewhere else. We're still not amused, though, and won't ever be going back to that dealer again.
But still, the rest of the news is good. Still praying that the deal on the house closes soon, and that she doesn't back out. She has until the 22nd to let us know.
