Default good news from my early risk assessment

for my age, my risk for Down syndrom is 1 in 196
after testing 1 in 3901

for my age, risk for patau and edward 1 in 351
after testing 1 in 6011

so good news. Genetic counselor said that these risk numbers are better than a 20 year old assessment based on age.

I'm still going to have the amnio to know for sure, find out about other potential issues, and to know the sex

Yay! Congratulations!

I had my quad screening done as well, and it came back as 1 in 11,400 for Down and 1 in 7,700 for neural tube defects, can't get much better than that! We're very happy!

Congrats! I go for part 1 of my SIPS screening next week. It's a 2 part blood test for Down's and trisomy 18 and 13.
