For me this was true.
First two pregnancies were with ovulation meds. My last (at age 40!-now you know I am old!) was an unexpected blessing! Just took my body 40 years to work.
Now, hopefully, you won't need to wait that long!

That's great news! I had read this somewhere else awhile back but couldn't find it again when I wanted (not this article but a statement that getting pregnant is a bit easier for older PCOS women rather than younger).
A relative of mine has PCOS too and got pregnant in mid 40s without even trying!

Hi! To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 10 or greater. You currently have 0 posts.
I'm a newbie here and i feel good to be able to talk about an issue that only my husband and i share. Nobody knows and it is sometimes hard to face this.
I am part of the older crowd: i'm 37 yo and we are looking to conceive.
What i do not understand is that i have my periods every months ie 28-30 days since i'm 16 (date at which i became a "woman" To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 10 or greater. You currently have 0 posts. )and according to my ovulation monitor we do ovulate.
I'm a confirmed PCOS.
Am I missing something? Is it normal?
In most article that i read about PCOS , including this one, i do not fit the profile of extended time without periods and other physical/visual characteristics.
I pray with all my heart that we are going to be able to conceive knowing that i am older and according to this study we have more chance of success if i read correctly between the lines.
